Hey everyone! Can you believe that there are only 4 months left in 2015?! The weather here has cooled down and it’s starting to feel a lot like fall. My daughter is almost a year old! When did that happen!?
She’s a crazy kid.
I love fall, the colors, the sweaters, Halloween, cuddling up with a nice warm quilt!
Speaking of quilts, I’m almost completely done with my bargello. I’m currently sewing on the borders and then the top will be finished! I haven’t actually quilted anything in about a month so I’m just itching to get started. The little one has a different plan.
A small preview of the bargello.
I’m making one of the borders from a fabric I’ve had in my stash for months. Hopefully my math is on point and I have just enough to finish it.
One of my biggest fears is finding out at the VEEERRYY end that I don’t have enough fabric to finish a project.
I’m the type of person that once I have an idea finalized in my head or on paper, I’m pretty attached to it. It wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world but I would certainly mope and complain to my boyfriend for the rest of the day.
Anyways here are a couple more in progress projects. All of them just need to be sandwiched, quilted and bound.
A crib quilt from scraps I had. This photo doesn’t really do the colors justice.
Placemats! I don’t have very many placemats in my inventory. Okay I have a total of 2 sets. And I just love the grapes fabric so I wanted to showcase it.
I’m currently waiting for a huge order of fabric to be shipped to me. I’m being very impatient about it. So stay tuned for more projects and fabric being put up for sale.
Happy crafting everyone!
Piecing and quilting has been checked off the list for my lets fly south quilt. All that’s left to do is the binding.
Binding is probably my most loved and most hated part of the process. I just want it to be completed but hand sewing the binding is a relaxing time for me. No fighting with my sewing machine or lining up seams.
So close 🙂
And then I have time to work on other in progress works.
Happy quilting everyone 🙂
